Sending Home Anniversary Cards

Home anniversary cards are a powerful way for real estate agents to stay top-of-mind with past clients. Magic Mailer automatically sends a card on the anniversary of each client's home purchase or closing date — every year.

How It Works

Home anniversary cards work just like birthday cards, but instead of sending around a birthday, cards are sent around the anniversary of a home purchase or closing date.

1. Upload a CSV that includes a transaction or closing date column
2. When the system detects these dates, you'll be asked: Birthday Cards or Home Anniversary Cards?
3. Choose "Home Anniversary Cards"
4. Select your contacts, choose a design, and approve — just like birthday batches

CSV Requirements

For best results, your CSV's transaction date column should:

• Have a clear column name such as: Transaction Date, Closing Date, Close Date, Purchase Date, Sale Date, Home Purchase Date, or similar
• Use a standard date format such as: MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, MM-DD-YYYY, Jan 15, 2024, 1/15/2024, etc.

What if the system doesn't detect my dates? If the AI mapper doesn't automatically detect your transaction date column, you can manually map it during the column mapping step. Look for the "Transaction Date" field in the dropdown.

What About Contacts Without a Transaction Date?

Contacts that don't have a valid transaction date cannot be included in a Home Anniversary batch. They'll appear in a separate section during the contact selection step so you can see who's missing data.

You can always edit a contact manually to add their transaction date.

Can I Send Both Birthday and Anniversary Cards?

Yes! Create separate batches for each. Upload your contacts once, then:

1. Create a Birthday Cards batch for contacts with birthdays
2. Create a Home Anniversary Cards batch for contacts with transaction dates

The same contacts can be in both types of batches.

Card Design

Home anniversary card designs work the same way as birthday cards. You can use any template — the system handles the scheduling based on the transaction date. System templates with personalized greetings will use the contact's name automatically.
