Upload & Contact Issues
My CSV upload seems stuck or shows "Uploading..." for a long time
The upload processes contacts in the background. After the upload starts, a progress view should appear within a few seconds.
If it seems stuck for more than 30 seconds:
- Try refreshing the page
- Check the Contacts page — your contacts may have been uploaded successfully even if the progress view didn't update
Some contacts show as "Undeliverable"
This means address validation determined the address is not deliverable by USPS. To fix this:
- Click the contact to view their details
- Check the address for errors (typos, missing apartment number, etc.)
- Edit the contact to correct the address — it will be re-validated automatically
Undeliverable contacts cannot be included in batches until their address is fixed.
Contacts show "Missing Birthday"
This is normal — not all contacts have discoverable birthday data. The birthday discovery service searched our data providers but couldn't find a match.
What you can do:
- Add the birthday manually by editing the contact
- Ask the contact directly and update their record
My CSV columns weren't mapped correctly
The AI mapper shows confidence levels for each mapping. If something looks wrong:
- Click the dropdown next to the incorrect field to change the mapping
- Use the "X" button to remove an incorrect mapping
- Use the quick-mapping buttons to assign unmapped columns
Tip: Using clear column names like "First Name," "Last Name," "Street Address" helps the AI mapper work more accurately.
I uploaded contacts but they haven't been processed
If you uploaded contacts before subscribing, they'll have a status of "uploaded" (not yet processed). You'll see a banner on the Contacts page offering to process them.
Processing includes address validation and birthday discovery, which require an active subscription. Subscribe first, then click "Process All" on the banner.
I hit my contact limit
Each subscription tier has a maximum number of contacts you can store. To add more:
- Upgrade to a higher tier (Settings → Subscriptions → Switch Plan)
- Delete contacts you no longer need to free up space
